Freddie is a Dartmoor gelding that I have owned for 8 years.
His problems started when we moved yards 5 years ago when he developed sweet itch. Over the past few years I tried everything to control it, cheap rugs, expensive rugs and hoods, supplements, blood tests, sweat itch jab etc.
It was so bad earlier this year I was considering having him PTS. Kate asked me to try her new supplement as a pretty much last chance for him. I didn't notice any difference at first, but I would say after 3 - 4 weeks I noticed he wasn't trying to rub on the gate all of the time and the damage that he had done to mainly his neck, spine and hips had started to dry up.
We are now onto our 3rd bag of it and all of his scabs and sores have dried up and hair is even growing back over his bald patches. And the best thing is he is also out 24/7 with no rugs or hoods at all and living his best life.
His coat is glowing again and he is not longer permanently covered in sudocrem.
